Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone has come out breathing fire after explosive claims about his children and failed marriage surfaced online, branding the reports as “false, malicious and unnecessary.”

The music icon has dismissed allegations that he secretly carried out DNA tests on the five children he shares with estranged wife Daniella Atim and allegedly discovered that one child was not biologically his.

The claims, reportedly made by veteran broadcaster Josephat Seguya during a television programme, quickly spread across social media, sparking widespread speculation about the singer’s family.

But Chameleone is having none of it.

“I don’t know what Josephat Seguya’s motive is, but what he is saying is false, malicious and unnecessary,” the singer said, insisting that every one of his children is his.

“I have kids, and they are all mine. People should stop dragging families and children into lies for the sake of chasing news,” he added.

The celebrated musician condemned what he described as irresponsible reporting, saying deeply personal family matters should never be turned into sensational stories without verification.

Chameleone also revealed that legal action remains on the table if the allegations continue to be repeated, although he expressed hope that the matter can be resolved without court intervention.

The controversy comes as Chameleone and Daniella Atim continue to conclude their divorce proceedings following the collapse of their 16-year marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot in June 2008, have lived separately for more than five years after Daniella relocated to the United States with their five kids.

Court records show that Daniella petitioned for divorce, citing desertion, adultery and cruelty, arguing that the marriage had irretrievably broken down.

Earlier this year, the former couple signed divorce documents, although the case remains before court pending the resolution of outstanding issues.

During mediation, the two agreed on custody arrangements, with Daniella retaining custody of the children while Chameleone was granted visitation rights.

Despite the ongoing divorce, Chameleone has made one thing crystal clear: he rejects the DNA allegations in their entirety and says his children should never become targets of unfounded rumours.

Under the agreement, Chameleone is also required to pay 2,000 US dollars (about Shs7.5 million) every month in child support
