Chameleone thanks Daniella for withstanding his personality

Veteran musician Jose Chameleone has spoken candidly about the end of his marriage to Daniella Atim, saying he has accepted that every chapter in life has its beginning and its end.

Appearing in a recent television interview, the Leone Island boss revealed that the two have already filed for divorce and are now nearing the conclusion of the legal process, bringing to an end a marriage that lasted more than a decade.

Reflecting on their relationship, Chameleone expressed gratitude to Daniella for the years they spent together and for the five children they share.

He also acknowledged the challenges that came with being married to a public figure, saying life with someone in the entertainment industry is not always easy.

“I thank Daniella for the beautiful children she gave me, for the time we shared and for enduring my personality. Being married to someone in my profession comes with many challenges,” he said.

The singer described their marriage as a journey filled with both joyful and difficult moments, adding that he views the experience as one that taught him valuable life lessons.

Despite the public attention their family disputes have attracted over the years, Chameleone said he deliberately chose not to discuss the disagreements publicly out of respect for his children.

He explained that remaining silent was his way of protecting them and avoiding saying things he might later regret.

“I chose silence because I wanted to set a good example for my children. I didn’t want to publicly say things that I would later regret,” he said.

Chameleone also addressed recent criticism from his son, Abba Marcus, saying he does not hold any resentment and believes maturity will eventually shape his son’s perspective.

Responding to Abba’s public remarks, the singer said he understands that his son is still young and expressed confidence that, with time, he will come to see certain issues differently.

The couple’s separation has been the subject of public interest for several years, with both Chameleone and Daniella largely choosing to keep details of their relationship out of the public eye as they co-parent their children
