Kibuli Muslim Hospital Earns Praise for Exceptional Healthcare Services

Kibuli Muslim Hospital has been recognized for its exceptional service to the Ugandan community. During a recent meeting with the hospital’s management team, John R. Musinguzi, the Commissioner General of the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), commended the hospital’s dedication and sacrifices in saving lives. He highlighted the facility’s vital role in providing specialized medical care.
The meeting was attended by Prince Kassim Nakibinge, the Titular Head of Muslims in Uganda, who leads the hospital’s management team. Musinguzi acknowledged the significant contributions of Kibuli Muslim Hospital, which has evolved from a modest clinic to a fully operational facility with 150 beds, offering various specialties and training programs. This development is rooted in the hospital’s history, which began in the 1930s on land donated by Prince Badru Kakungulu.
During his remarks, Musinguzi expressed profound appreciation for the hospital staff’s selfless efforts, stating, “What you are doing is beyond what man can reward. We appreciate you, and as individuals in these offices, we promise to serve you to the best of our abilities.” This sentiment underscores the respect and admiration the URA holds for the hospital’s work.
In response, Prince Nakibinge thanked Musinguzi and his team for their visit, stating, “Great thanks to you and your team for taking the initiative to visit us and look into our issues.” The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the relationship between Kibuli Muslim Hospital and the URA, promoting tax compliance and raising awareness about the rights and obligations of healthcare institutions.
Musinguzi encouraged Prince Nakibinge to join the initiative of promoting tax compliance among healthcare providers, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between public and private institutions.
