Zuena Kirema Reveals Why She Quit Music, Says She Will Never Return Despite Fans Praising Her Voice
Businesswoman and wife of singer Bebe Cool has opened up about why she walked away from music after releasing a couple of songs.
Having been inspired by the success of her husband, Zuena made the decision to try out her luck in the music industry, releasing songs like Mata, Owa Boda ft. Eighton and Rain. She, however, abandoned the career before it took off, leaving fans questioning her decision to quit.
Zuena, during a live TikTok broadcast, revealed that she did music out of boredom and wanted to try out something new with her life. She emphasized that it wasn’t something that she took seriously, as everyone thought.
“Someone was saying that they love my songs and I should give them a concert, please no. Some of us did music because we were bored and wanted to try it out. We didn’t take it seriously though,” she said.

Zuena’s revelation came as an answer to fans who were asking her to go back to the studio, with claims that she had amazing vocals. They claimed that they loved her music, and in this era of old artists bouncing back with concerts, they would wish for one from her.
She, however, turned down the request, emphasizing that she would never do music again because of the drama that was involved, which she couldn’t handle anymore.
“Those saying my voice was perfect should just let me be. I do not have that energy of jumping around the stage and having people insult you today and praising you the next day. I’m not an emotional person that I mind what people say but I didn’t have that energy to quarrel with different people, do stunts here and there. I couldn’t handle that,” she said.
