Singer Weasel Manizo has opened up about his changing attitude towards helping people, revealing that repeated experiences of betrayal have made him reluctant to extend a helping hand.

The singer says he has supported many people throughout his career, only to feel betrayed by some of those he helped.

Speaking in a local television interview, Weasel said the experiences gradually changed the way he views helping others.

“I have helped so many people and they betrayed me. It is the reason I don't help those who come to me at the moment. I lost that love for helping, and I no longer want to be used,” he partly said.

Weasel Remembers His Days With Radio

The singer also reflected on his time working alongside his late singing partner Mowzey Radio, saying they helped several musicians during their time together.

According to Weasel, however, only a handful of those artistes have acknowledged the support they received from the duo.

He believes the repeated disappointments have taught him to be more cautious about the people he chooses to help.
