Ssenyonyi Cheered After Details Emerge COSASE Died Immediately After He Quit as Chairperson

Hon. Luttamaguzi Ssemakula has stirred debate with his remarks on the state of the Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (COSASE) following Joel Ssenyonyi's departure as chairperson.

Speaking during a discussion on NBS television network, Ssemakula praised Ssenyonyi's leadership, emphasizing that the committee’s vibrancy and effectiveness were tied to his tenure.

“When Joel Ssenyonyi was chairman of COSASE, some individuals criticized him, claiming he wasn’t working. Now that he is no longer the chairman, where is COSASE?” Ssemakula asked.

Joel Ssenyonyi, known for his bold approach to oversight, led high-profile investigations into corruption and mismanagement in government agencies.

“Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi is a senior legislator, and we are confident he will do a great job,” Ssemakula stated.
