Ssemujju Rings the Bell on Museveni's Gameplan, Alleges How He's Playing Mind-games with Ugandans
Hon. Ssemujju Nganda, the outspoken MP for Kira Municipality, has made bold claims about President Yoweri Museveni’s political strategies, describing them as a calculated effort to manipulate public perception and maintain control.
In a recent address, Ssemujju Nganda likened the situation to a football game, where the dictator has already passed the ball to a hidden player while the fans remain distracted by a decoy striker.
According to Ssemujju Nganda, while many Ugandans are focused on opposing President Yoweri Museveni directly, the President has been quietly grooming his successor behind the scenes.
“The dictator has already passed the ball to an academy player who has been promoted to the main team,” Ssemujju remarked.
He warned that the so-called "dummy striker" is merely a diversion, designed to keep the opposition preoccupied while Museveni advances his true agenda through other channels.
“As fans focus on the dummy striker, the defending midfielder is advancing aggressively with all forces,” Ssemujju added.
Ssemujju Nganda also criticized the opposition for falling into what he described as Museveni’s mind games. He urged Ugandans to pay closer attention to the subtle shifts in power dynamics and to challenge the entire system rather than just the figurehead.
These comments come amid increased speculation about Museveni’s succession plan, with some insiders suggesting that members of his inner circle are being positioned to take over key roles in government.
Ssemujju Nganda claimed that this strategy ensures President Yoweri Museveni's legacy and influence persist even after his eventual exit from office.

“This is not just about removing a dictator; it’s about dismantling the entire machinery he has put in place,” Ssemujju emphasized.
The remarks have reignited conversations about Uganda's political future, as the opposition grapples with how to counter President Yoweri Museveni’s carefully laid plans.
