Last Drink that Took Mezo Noir Socialite’s Life Here's What Happened On Her Last Hours

The tragic death of Mezo Noir socialite Ahumuza has left many questions unanswered. According to a police report, the events leading to her death unfolded in the early hours of March 20, 2025.

Ahumuza began her day with exercise, including aerobics and swimming at Speke Apartments. Later, she met her friend Dorreck Ampaire at Auras Bar and Lodge in Kololo.

Around midnight, Ahumuza left the bar with Ampaire and went to the home of Mubiru, a friend in Lower Kololo.

While there, she spent time texting Mugabo, an intimate acquaintance. At 1:00 am, Ahumuza messaged Mugabo saying she had no curfew that night.

By 1:45 am, Ahumuza arrived at Mezo Noir Bar to meet Mugabo. CCTV footage shows her walking with him into the manager's office.

Shortly after, Mugabo was seen frantically making phone calls. At 3:40 am, Mugabo’s brother, Joseph Kalisa, arrived with a security guard and found Ahumuza unconscious.

They carried her out of the office and rushed her to Kampala Hospital, where she was admitted in a coma at 4:00 am.

Sadly, Ahumuza was pronounced dead at 3:00 pm on March 21, 2025. A police report reveals that Ahumuza became unconscious during or immediately after an intimate encounter with Mugabo in the manager’s office.

The investigation is ongoing as the cause of her death is still unclear.
