Kulthum Muzaata Regrets Publicising Marriage

Dr Kulthum Muzaata has expressed regret over publicly sharing details of her recent marriage and divorce on social media, revealing that she would have kept the union private had she anticipated the widespread public scrutiny and fallout.

In a candid interview on Sanyuka TV’s popular program Uncut, Kulthum confirmed she is now single and personally authored the widely circulated divorce letter that marked the end of her marriage to businessman Acram Gumisiriza.

“Yes, I wrote the letter,” she affirmed, adding that she is now fully committed to advancing her academic career and leaving her personal life behind the public eye.

Kulthum is preparing to present a paper on curriculum review at an upcoming international conference organized by Professor Maurice Amutabi at Multimedia University, underscoring her dedication to education and scholarly work.

“Just recently, I had two publications — one in the Journal of African Interdisciplinary Studies and another in the Journal of Popular Education in Africa. The articles focus on Curriculum Review and the Internationalization of Higher Education.”

“I want you to read my academic work with the same speed you read the divorce letter, because this is the kind of knowledge you need to improve your lives.”
