Alien Skin discusses father’s passing, life as a truck driver, and their bond
In a rare moment, Fangone Forest CEO and singer Alien Skin opened up about his late father and his bond with him.
Speaking in an interview, Alien Skin shared that his father, who passed away when he was still in Primary Four, lived a rather complex life.
I didn’t see him much but I think he was a true bad man. I lived with him a little and he died when I was in Primary Four. He had like six homes.
According to Alien, his father worked as a truck driver, which meant he was often away and rarely present during Alien Skin’s early years.
This contributed to their distant relationship.
When I started to understand, it’s when my mum had already left him, so I would just go visit him barely.
Alien Skin also shared that his roots are deeply tied to Kampala’s ghettos, with his mother hailing from Makindye and his father from Kawempe.
