General Moses Ali (Rtd), the veteran Member of Parliament for Adjumani West County, left residents in Mokolo East village stunned after announcing his intention to seek re-election despite visible signs of frailty.At 86, the former army officer and longtime political figure told constituents during a gathering in Lajopi Parish that his presence was simply to "show he is still alive and ready to serve again."

However, a viral video from the event showing him slurring his words and struggling to stand has stirred national debate. The footage sparked widespread concern about his health and fitness to lead, with Ugandans expressing mixed emotions online.
