Jordan Tumwine, the National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate for Rwampara County, has apologized to Party President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu for briefly switching allegiance to the NRM party. Tumwine said he made the decision due to intimidation but has since realized that the NRM has little to offer the country. He emphasized that he remains a NUP candidate, noting that he never officially notified the Electoral Commission of any party switch.
