BREAKING! Soroti City Resident Arrested for Illegally Selling Passports
A resident of Soroti City has been arrested for allegedly selling passports and other immigration-related documents.
According to a police statement, Tesira Abilo, a resident of Orwadai in Soroti City was arrested in the morning of Sunday, 22nd February 2026, in an intelligence-led operation.
During the operation, police recovered about 261 passports, several certificates of good conduct, and yellow fever cards.
Police says she was issuing them from her residence and is now currently under police custody as investigations continue.
