Bryan White Pleads for Bail Over Failing Health
City socialite and ex-tycoon Bryan White has pleaded with court to grant him bail as he continues to face serious criminal charges.
Bryan White, who is currently on remand at Luzira Prison, appeared in court earlier this week where he requested the judge to hear and consider his bail application.
The embattled socialite argued that he deserves bail as a Ugandan citizen and cited his deteriorating health as a key reason for his request.
“I beg the judge to hear my bail application and grant it to me. I am not doing well health-wise and need to receive treatment away from prison. I will follow all the terms given,” he said.
Bryan White has been behind bars since last year as investigations continue into charges of murder, manslaughter, and human sacrifice linked to the death of Caroline Nalubwama, a 25-year-old woman.
The court adjourned the case, setting the next hearing for April 16, 2026, as legal proceedings continue.
