Charcoal Burner Brutally Killed in Elephant Attack in Murchison Falls Park
A 45-year-old charcoal burner was brutally killed by an elephant in Murchison Falls National Park.
He had entered the protected area to burn charcoal when the attack occurred, according to reports.
His colleagues fled and were reportedly arrested for unlawful entry, while the victim was trilled on the spot.
Authorities later retrieved the body and transported it to a nearby mortuary, as investigations into the incident continue.
