BREAKING: Man Sends Mourners Scampering after Appearing at Own Burial in Masindi

Different decomposing body that was believed to be Baguma’s ready for burial

Residents of Kijura Central Cell, Central Division in Masindi Municipality are in still shock after a man appeared at his burial today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

According to the family, Godwin Baguma, who reportedly had a mental disorder, went missing 3 weeks ago. However, over the weekend they learned from police that their son’s decomposing body had been discovered in a sugarcane plantation in Kisanja Cell.

Convinced that the body was for their son, they organised a burial but they were shocked after Baguma appeared in a neighbouring Kihanguzi village and came to the burial.
