Budding Medic Killed in Suspected Pavers Gang Attack in Seeta

Mukono — A young medical student, identified as Peter Tulilinya, has been killed in a suspected attack by a group of assailants reportedly armed with paving stones in Seeta, Mukono District.

According to preliminary information, Tulilinya encountered the group under unclear circumstances and was struck during the assault, leading to his death.

The incident has sparked grief among colleagues and members of the medical community, who described him as a promising young professional with a bright future.

“Very unfortunate to lose such a young man with so much potential. It is a loss not only to his family but to the nation,” said Peter Dusabe, a colleague.

By press time, members of the medical fraternity were mobilising support to facilitate Tulilinya’s burial arrangements.

Authorities had not yet issued an official statement on the incident, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killing are ongoing.
