Wakiso: Police Probe Aggravated Robbery in Nakuwadde Village

Police in Wakiso District are investigating a case of aggravated robbery that occurred in the early hours of Friday in Nakuwadde Village.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire, the victim was attacked by an unknown assailant armed with a panga, who stole a mobile phone and cash.

Community members responded promptly to the incident and managed to apprehend a suspect, identified as Kiyinji Marvin (21), who was found in possession of the stolen phone. The suspect was handed over to police and is currently in custody to assist with ongoing investigations.

Owoyesigyire commended the vigilance of the community and urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious individuals or activities to the nearest police station.
