Justine Nameere Accuses Daudi Kabanda of Fraud and Manipulation

Masaka City Woman MP-elect Justine Nameere has made fresh allegations against Kasambya County MP Daudi Kabanda, accusing him of fraud and manipulation for personal financial gain.

In a statement released digitally on Wednesday night, Nameere claimed that Kabanda misled President Yoweri Museveni in a scheme involving a woman he allegedly introduced as Bobi Wine’s wife.

According to Nameere, the woman was falsely presented to the President, and together with Kabanda, they allegedly obtained money after promising to provide sensitive information about Bobi Wine’s associates and funders.

She alleged that the arrangement was part of a plan to manipulate the President for financial benefit.

Nameere’s accusations come amid rising political tensions, following Daudi Kabanda’s recent decision to withdraw his endorsement of Speaker Anita Among in line with the position of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).

Kabanda has since indicated that he will publicly respond to the allegations later today.

The claims have sparked debate on social media, with many awaiting Kabanda’s side of the story as the political fallout continues.
