SEMUJJU NGANDA: Mao Making Maximalist Demands Because He Wants A Juicier Ministry from Museveni

Semujju Nganda says that Norbert Mao knows he can’t get speakership but he is busy pushing hard and making maximalist demands because he wants to end up getting something big and better from Museveni and general Saleh.

Semujju says that Mao is like a man who goes to a friend’s home to ask that the friend surrenders his most valued vehicle to him yet in actual sense what he wants is one of the bicycles in the home.

‘It’s also like someone wanting chicken coming to your home and demanding for your most treasured bull well knowing it can’t be given to him. You end up giving him chicken, which won’t make you hurt because you won’t have given away a lot to that friend. So don’t be surprised when Mao ends up getting the position of prime minister or some other big thing in cabinet. It will have to be something bigger than the ministry of justice which he has been holding.’ Semujju Nganda said in a bid to explain Norbert Mao’s actual strategy.
