Balaam Ateenyi Assures Smooth Working Relationship with Justine Nameere in New Local Government Ministry Pairing

The newly appointed Minister for Local Government, Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, has moved to calm speculation over possible tensions in his working relationship with his junior minister, as Uganda’s latest Cabinet reshuffle takes effect under President Yoweri Museveni.

Balaam, who now heads the Ministry of Local Government, will be working alongside Justine Nameere, who was appointed Minister of State in the same docket.
