Wolves confirm departure of ten players after Premier League relegation including England ace Angel Gomes
WOLVES have announced ten players have exited the club after their relegation from the Premier League.
Wanderers finished rock bottom this past season with a staggering 24 losses and a mere three wins out of 38 Prem matches that led to just 20 points.

And Rob Edwards’ side will now be hoping for a swift return to the English top flight after dropping to the Championship for the first time in eight years.
Wolves are gearing up for a campaign in the second division and have started with some cuts in Edwards‘ squad.
Nine players were let go on free transfers with their contracts running out this month at Molineux.
Among them is club legend Matt Doherty, who spent a total of 13 years across two spells at Wolves.
Doherty, 34, who also played for the likes of Tottenham and Atletico Madrid, helped the club gain promotion in the Premier League back in 2018 and qualify for Europe just a year later.
The Republic of Ireland international, who amassed a total of 33 goals and 41 assists in 389 appearances at Molineux, is followed out the door by academy graduate Dexter Lembikisa.
Another seven members of Wolves‘ academy – Ty Barnett, Harvey Griffiths, Arthur Nasta, Bjorn Marwa, David Osifo, Fabian Salmon and Jake Wilcox – are also leaving.
And finally England international Angel Gomes, who joined Wolves on February on loan from Marseille, is returning to the French giants.

Former Manchester United ace Gomes, 25, registered 13 appearances but couldn’t help turn Wolves’ fortunes around.
Nevertheless, Ladislav Krejci, who spent this past season on loan from Girona, is set to sign a permanent deal with the Championship outfit.
And an offer has been made to youth prospect Conor McLeod by club chiefs.
