Nabbanja clarifies remarks on the missing John Bosco Kibalama

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has reversed her earlier position, denying that her previous remarks referred to the missing John Bosco Kibalama.

Addressing Parliament, Nabbanja said she had instead been referring to her Local Council chairperson, who she claimed shares the same name as Kibalama.

The clarification came after the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, questioned the government about a Member of Parliament who was reportedly arrested and had not been seen for two weeks. Ssenyonyi’s remarks prompted a strong response from the Prime Minister.
