NRM flagbearers in Hoima still in tears and disbelief over what the former Speaker did to them

If there are people who are praying so hard that it would be possible to send the former Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among, to hell very fast, they are the NRM flagbearers of Hoima City who are still crying in disbelief over what the former Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among, allegedly did to them during the recent elections.

While touring Hoima District, I encountered a group of young and influential people talking about how they are disappointed in the way the former Speaker of Parliament fought hard to make Princess Diana Abwooli fail.

They alleged that Ms. Abwooli, who won the NRM flag to contest for Hoima City Woman MP, lost by a small margin after a group of security personnel led by Badru, the RCC of Hoima City, with the backing of Anita Among, made sure Diana Abwooli lost to Asinansi Nyakato of the PFF party. Huge amounts of money, supported by security, made Diana fall.

There was also an allegation by these youths that Hon. Mary Grace Mugasa joined hands with the team that had plenty of funds, courtesy of AAA, to fight Ms. Diana, the NRM flag bearer.

While in Hoima West, it is alleged that the former Speaker of Parliament again poured a lot of money, like tree leaves falling down, to help Kasule Ismael, her personal friend, win the MP seat. Pictures and videos show members of Kasule’s team splashing money as if its source was inexhaustible.

There is no doubt that both Kasule and Asinansi are very close to the former Speaker, Anita Among.

Meanwhile, the youths are still waiting to see the outcome from court since Princess Diana has petitioned the court, but they believe that Anita Among also has tentacles in the judiciary.
