Man Utd release six players including Casemiro and £73m flop as retained list announced ahead of summer transfer window
MANCHESTER UNITED have announced that six players have left the club.
The Red Devils confirmed their released and retained list with some notable names heading for the exit door.

Tyrell Malacia made 50 appearances for United
United’s highest paid player Casemiro and full-full-back Tyrell Malacia were not offered new deals.
Casemiro spent four years at Old Trafford, having joined for £70m from Real Madrid in 2022.
He scored 26 goals in 160 appearances for the club and picked up FA Cup and League Cup winners’ medals.
The Brazil captain has drawn interest from MLS sides and has enjoyed holidays in Florida with wife in recent years.
Meanwhile, the Jadon Sancho soap opera has officially ended.
Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 for a whopping £73m before playing 83 times for the club.
After a fall out with ex-boss Erik ten Hag, the winger returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan, before his temporary moves to Chelsea and Aston Villa.
Sancho played in three back-to-back European finals for his three loan clubs during his time on the books, winning the Conference League with Chelsea and Europa League with Unai Emery’s side.

Goalkeeper Dermot Mee has been offered a new contract.
The academy graduate has played an important role in first-team training in recent years, whilst representing United’s Under-21s side in competitive fixtures.
Academy players Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe will depart this summer.
Youth defenders Albert Mills and Dante Plunkett are expected to sign their first professional terms with United in July.
Marcus Rashford has been named no the retained list amid reports that Barcelona have ended his loan and shipped him back to Manchester.
Rasmus Hojlund was United’s first summer sale after Napoli triggered their £38m obligation to by the striker.
