The controversy surrounding the paternity claims involving the late Kadongo Kamu legend Paul Job Kafeero has taken another twist after musician Bruno K shared fresh details about one of the individuals who underwent DNA testing.

Speaking after hosting Ekiboozi Nende Kafeero, Bruno K said one of Kafeero’s younger brothers disclosed that Paul Ssentongo, one of the 25 individuals who presented himself as the singer’s possible child, was motivated by a dream in which the late musician allegedly identified himself as his biological father.

According to Bruno K, the dream convinced Ssentongo to seek scientific confirmation through DNA testing.

“Yesterday on Ekiboozi Nende Kafeero, Kafeero’s younger brother told us that this gentleman said he had a dream in which the late Kafeero told him he was his father. That is why he also came for the DNA test,” Bruno K wrote on social media.

The DNA exercise, whose results were released last week, confirmed that only four of the 25 claimants were biologically related to the late singer, while the remaining 21, including Ssentongo, were ruled out.

As public interest in the case continues, additional information about Ssentongo has emerged from people claiming to know him.

According to these accounts, Ssentongo hails from Fort Portal and relocated to Kampala about eight years ago in search of better opportunities. They further claim he has struggled with alcohol abuse over the years.

The claims about Ssentongo’s background and the alleged dream have not been independently verified.

The Kafeero paternity saga has continued to dominate public discussion since the release of the DNA results, with family members, public figures and commentators weighing in on the findings and their implications
