Chris Obore, 7 Other Parliament Bosses Arrested

News coming in indicate that parliament’s Director of Communications Chris Ariko Obore has been arrested by detectives attached to the Inspectorate General of Government and is set to be arraigned before the Kololo-based Anti- Corruption Court.

Ever since former Speaker Anita Among fell from the pinnacle of authority and power and had her homes searched leading to the confiscating of her luxury cars and placed under house arrest, several parliament bosses have been worried and on the radar of security agencies on corruption related issues.

The others arrested at parliament include Adilo Daniel Executive Secretary office of the Speaker, Rajab Kaaya Ssemalulu Principal Research Officer , Okwi Emmanuel Emuron the Principal Protocal Officer, Stella Itute THE Personal Assistant, Vincent Otebata the Capacity Development Officer and Murebe Methods the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Parliamentary SACCO
